This kit contains two magnetic adapters that replace the two tiny (27mm / 1.1″) joined hoses that come with the saw with two 2-1/2″ magnetic ports that allow you to connect two vacuum sources, or, with the addition of one of our U2-Y-001 adapters, to a single 2-1/2″ shop vac or dust extractor hose. You can also add our 2.5″ Ball Valves to one or both inlets to allow you to control the airflow rate between the blade and the back guard of the saw.
Because this kit allows the use of larger hose right at the source, you can achieve 3X the airflow with a Y adapter and 6X the airflow with separate vacuum sources (or with a Y adapter on a 4″ duct, as we have done in our shop). It’s a dramatic difference in the amount of dust captured.

The top adapter (for the blade) fits in the opening where the factory hose clips in. The bottom adapter completely replaces the rectangular plate the is screwed into the bottom back right side of the saw. The hole pattern for the screws is the same as the factory part. Installation takes 10 to 15 minutes.
