This 2.5″ ball valve has a connection for Rockler/Powertec clear 2.5″ PVC pipe on one side and a U2-sized female magnetic adapter on the other.
It can be installed at the end of a PVC branch line, and the magnetic adapter will accept any u2-sized male HoseJoy hose adapter or any U1-sized male hose adapter with the addition of a size-down adapter.
It closes airtight, and when open there is zero airflow restriction.
Opens and closes effortlessly, and can be used partially open to balance airflow when multiple ports are open.
Apply silicone sealant to the inside of the adapter, then push the PVC pipe into it. Let it set up for three hours before use (the silicone will fully cure in 24 hours).
Alternatively, use tape on the outside of both the pipe and fitting.
