We're building the USB of dust collection.
Tools, hoses, and vacuums all use slightly different dust ports, which is why most shops end up with a drawer full of mismatched adapters.
HoseJoy solves this by adapting each tool once. Leave the adapter on your tool and it instantly connects to any HoseJoy hose in your shop.
Powerful magnets snap the connectors together in seconds, creating a tight sealed connection. When you’re ready to switch tools, a small twist releases the connection just as easily.
And if you don’t see the connector you need yet, reach out and tell us.
We’re building the system until every tool fits.
How It Works
4 simple steps to a tight, consistent dust collection setup that fits your tools and stays put.
Match each tool's dust port precisely. Your hose locks on tight and stays sealed.
Magnetic, airtight, and quick to swap. No clamps, no wrestling. Just fast, secure connections.
Match your vacuum or dust extractor port. This is your anchor point — the foundation of your system.
Need to step down from a larger main line to a smaller hose? Keep airflow consistent without cobbled-together reducers.
REFERENCE GUIDE
Choose the right diameter for your tools, hoses, and vacuum units.
Standard 1-1/4″ diameter. Used for most small tool ports — sanders, routers, jigsaws, and compact extractors.
Mid-range 2-1/2″ diameter. Common on shop vacs, Milwaukee extractors, and medium-duty hoses.
Large 4" diameter. Used for dust collectors, large blast gates, and permanent shop duct systems.
Extra-large 6" diameter. Used for industrial dust collectors and central duct systems.
ESSENTIAL RULE
Dust and air always move toward the vacuum, so the male end of each connection faces that direction.
Once you know this rule, picking parts becomes easy.
Why HoseJoy
Everything works together. Every part is interchangeable. Build once, expand forever.
Every connection in the HoseJoy system uses embedded neodymium magnets. Snap on, snap off — no tools, no clamps, no stuck fittings.
We measure actual dust ports from actual tools. Not a 'close enough' universal fit — a precise match for your specific machine.
Every adapter we make is covered for life. If it breaks under normal use, we replace it. No receipts, no hassle.
Designed and manufactured in Portland, OR. We control every step of production to ensure consistent quality.
