This adapter converts the dust port on the Makita 196845-3 Tuck Point Guard to the HoseJoy System.
This is a friction fit adapter. Push and turn the adaper onto the tool’s dust port. Silicone sealant can be added if you desire.

A small 1/16th turn and tug in either direction releases the magnets allowing you to quickly detach your hose from one tool and effortlessly attach it to another.
