This magnetic 2.5 inch vacuum hose adapter is part of the HoseJoy magnetic hose connector system, providing a fast, frustration-free way to connect Ridgid and Shop Vac hoses to tools and attachments without clamps, buttons, or tabs.
Sized for the extremely common 2-1/2″ Ridgid and Shop Vac vacuum hoses, this female adapter is designed to point toward the tool in the HoseJoy system. The male end always points toward the vacuum source, while the female end creates a consistent, repeatable connection at the tool side of your dust collection setup.
Powerful N52 neodymium magnets pull the connection into alignment, while premium rubber O-rings create a secure, airtight seal that maintains airflow and suction. A small 1/16-turn twist and gentle tug releases the magnets, making hose changes quick and low-effort—especially helpful for users with arthritis or limited hand strength.

How to Use
Push the hose into the adapter until the hook clips onto the flange and locks into place, then connect magnetically to other HoseJoy components.
